How to Beat the Discomfort that comes with Elevating Your Personal Brand

Over the last 4 years as a full-time career strategist & interview prep expert I’ve seen the good, the bad, and down-right unprepared.

And as someone who has worked with thousands of high level professionals, I want to share a simple observation I’ve found that separates those who thrive in their careers & stand out in a competitive marketplace and those that blend in and get caught up in the mix of an unhappy career.

And that simple observation is this:

The clients who focus on continuous growth, personal development, mental & physical health, accepting & acknowledging constructive feedback, and are continuously pushing themselves to overcome the “fear” of failure ALWAYS come out on top.

The clients who struggle in their careers are those who get stuck in making decisions, always are trying to people please, care too much what others think, run away from their fears, & those who sign up for programs but never complete them… etc. etc. etc.

There are a number of ways to better prepare for your career.

You can practice your elevator pitch.

You can record yourself on Zoom and relisten to how your answers sound.

You can hire a career strategist (like me!!).

Or you can totally level up your confidence and beat your imposter syndrome.

The point(s) however is simple.

Never escape your fears, face them head on.

The next time you have a decision: elevate or escape, I want to encourage you to never run away from your dreams, no matter how scary they sound. You can handle more than you think.

p.s. November 1 will be your last chance to enroll in the LinkedIn beta program I created with you in mind - Stand Out As an Expert on LinkedIn. If you want to learn how to stand out online, and have clients & employers chase after you – this is your roadmap right here!

Yours truly,

Ashlee
